Jackofsky is a professional pyrographic artist who studied art
and graphic design at New York Institute of Technology.
Georgianne’s unique take on woodburning is in large part due
to her ability to transfer her unique and intricate pen and
ink illustration techniques to the pyrographic medium. Over
the last decade her work has been sought after and purchased
by collectors around the world. In 2013, she began
collaborating with her brother-in-law, woodturner Mike
Jackofsky. Their work has been displayed at The Mingei
International Museum, The DelMano Gallery, Design in Wood
Exhibits, The 2015 & 2016 AAW Symposium, and was featured
on the cover of the 2016
Craft Supply USA Woodturners Catalog.
